Patty Smith
Physical Education Teacher, Athletic Director
Patty Smith teaches physical education to all our students from toddlers through middle school. She has taught at Yavneh Day School/Rockwern Academy since 1987. Mrs. Smith also serves as our Athletic Director coordinating our volleyball and basketball programs.
Mrs. Smith received her BA from Earlham College in Physical Education and also earned her Coaching Certification. She also attended the University of Cincinnati. In addition to teaching; she also leads various after school activities for our students.
Mrs. Smith writes, "I love to see students faces light up when they develop and learn a new skill. I enjoy outdoor adventures and like taking our older students canoeing, ziplining, rock climbing, camping, and horseback riding when the opportunity arises.”
