Marcie Oliff
Lead Teacher, Kindergarten
Marcie Oliff has held many titles at Rockwern including Pre-K Teacher, ELL Support Teacher, Interim ECEC Director, and kindergarten teacher. She began teaching as a substitute Pre-K Teacher in January of 2004, and is now a lead Kindergarten Teacher. Mrs. Oliff holds a Bachelor of Science with a Concentration in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Science with a Concentration in Early Childhood Education and a focus in Early Literacy Development, and an Ohio Reading Endorsement.
She loves guiding the children to become better readers and writers as well as watching their eyes light up when they recognize their independent skills of reading and/or writing words. Mrs. Oliff recently found one of her own first grade writings stating that she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up! She has three children of her own, one of whom shares her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher one day.
